How to be a part of it
The Art Licks Weekend (4-6 October 2013) celebrates the creative energy of the young London art scene. For this three-day festival young galleries, not-for-profit projects, artist-run spaces and independent curatorial projects will be open to the public with exhibitions of work by emerging artists and special events.
The Art Licks Weekend [AL Weekend] will coordinate and promote the festival, enabling a wider, diverse range of audiences to visit the galleries and project spaces and will provide a brilliant opportunity for galleries and artists exhibiting to promote their work. The AL Weekend will be led by artistic talent and innovative ideas.
Call for Proposals
The AL Weekend provides an opportunity for galleries, and the artists exhibiting to promote their work, increase their reach to a wider audience and create more of a known presence in the immediate locality.
To be involved in the AL Weekend, you will need to submit a completed Application Form. All accepted applications will then be part of the official AL Weekend Programme and promoted as such on the website, in the printed programme, to press and the public. Proposals must be a fully formed idea and self funded. Please read the Guidelines before filling in the Application Form.
Accepted applicants can also choose to be selected for the Workweek Prize, with a prize of £300 for an exhibitor and £300 for an organiser.
