Open Call INLAND: 2 Neither
Launched in 2016 as a response to the lack of affordable space in London, INLAND explores the ideas of them and us, of clearly delineated thresholds and of arbitrary lines drawn in the sand.
INLAND #2 is now open for visual and written submissions. INLAND is a portable exhibition in zine form.
Launched in 2016 as a response to the lack of affordable space in London, INLAND explores the ideas of them and us, of clearly delineated thresholds and of arbitrary lines drawn in the sand. Whether it be gender, Nationality or class this zine intends to reflect upon the ways in which these lines are transgressed and transcended through the work of contemporary artists and writers.
For the second edition INLAND will focus on Gender under the heading Neither. How is gender constructed? What is the impact of gender on identity? How can we challenge perceived gender norms through the creative process? INLAND are looking for visual and written submissions that explore gender and might in some way respond to these questions.
For visual submissions please send no more than three jpeg images (up to 500kb each) and for poetry and prose submissions please send no more than three word documents.
