The London Creative Network (LCN) at SPACE is a professional artist development programme that delivers bespoke mentoring and project-specific support for professional artists in London. LCN at SPACE directly responds to the pressing needs and desires of artists who want access to new production technologies, conceptual framing of their work and peer-networking. The emphasis is on the development of new artworks that ultimately lead to the sustainability of an artist’s practice.

LCN recognises the individual needs of its participants and aims to find the best form of assistance, while offering 6 months of support in the form of:

- 121 mentoring with LCN's Art Production Mentor and Art Market Mentor
- Skills workshops led by industry specialists (such as video editing, wood/metal
work, laser- cutting, etc.)
—Facilitated peer critique sessions

- Discussions/talks led by field experts (both on contextual and business-related topics)

Artists apply with a proposal that aims to refine, resolve and produce a new project or work within the 6-month time frame. Proposals can be a wide range of projects, such as artists moving to new medium, a print edition, a public art project, a first publication, or the use of newer technologies like 3D-printing or laser- cutting.

LCN is unique in its approach as it addresses the conceptual, technical and commercial development of artists by focusing on the making of one new project.
