Caraboo Projects launch a new online artist mentoring opportunity for six emerging artists based in Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire or Wiltshire.

brb: a new online artist mentoring opportunity for six emerging artists based in Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire or Wiltshire. Open to all artists who identify as being in the early years of their career, we especially encourage those from BAME and/or LGBTQ+ communities and those that have taken non-traditional routes to becoming an artist. Each mentee will be paired with a chosen artist to discuss strategies of working, developing and surviving in the arts via 2 one-to-one sessions online followed by feedback and the chance to contribute to a shared online resource open to everyone involved.
Mentors are Nella Aarne, Savinder Bual, Harriet Bowman, Rachael Clerke, Martyn Cross and Laura Eldret.

Caraboo Projects is a contemporary art organisation based in Bristol, founded in 2018 by a collective of artists & educators. Caraboo Projects is committed to developing an inclusive and collaborative platform, bringing together artists, curators and local members of the community, for experimentation, and the development of self-organised and cross disciplinary arts in Bristol.
