Caraboo Loops

Offering two artists a paid opportunity to each co-produce a podcast episode with the Caraboo Projects team, for Caraboo's new monthly podcast transmitting collective curiosities and ambient wanderings of Bristol and further afield.

Caraboo Loops: Caraboo Loops is a new monthly podcast transmitting our collective curiosities and ambient wanderings of Bristol and further afield. We are offering two artists the opportunity to each co-produce a podcast episode with the Caraboo team, and really encourage artists with little or no experience with podcast production, but who are excited by the opportunity. It’s a chance to develop podcast skills, play and dive a bit deeper with an idea, interest or research.
We’re interested in cultivating conversations around social histories, folklore, visual arts, music and everything else that falls between the cracks. There’s no fixed format or theme for the podcast and depending on the guest artist it can be interpreted in various ways—usually we just try to keep them within half an hour.
Artists will be working alongside the Caraboo team and composer Rowan Bishop to develop the idea. You can listen to our most recent and previous episodes here: https://carabooprojects.com/loops-episode-4/
Further information and an easy read version is available here https://carabooprojects.com/podcast-producer-opportunity/
There will be a £150 artist fee for each episode.
Application deadline 15th July
